District 76 Spring Conference 2013 |
District 76 Spring Conference was held on May 17-19 at Nagoya Congress
Center.
The winner in the Japanese contest
1st Place : Shigeru Kobayashi (Fantasista Toastmasters Club), "Dream"
2nd Place : Yoshiyuki Kajikawa (Senri Toastmasters Club), "Ukeireru"
3rd Place : Katsuhiko Hiramatsu (Edo Toastmasters Club), "Home no Tatsujin"
The winner in the English contest
1st Place : Naoki Tamura (Sunrise Toastmasters Club), "You Decide"
2nd Place : Hitoshi Kawagchi (Yokohama Frontier Toastmasters Club), "Love Your Neighbours"
3rd Place : Drian Von Golden (Leadership Toastmasters Club), "No Regret"

Area 44 English & Japanese International Speech Contest 2013 |
Area 44 Japanese & English International Speech Contest 2013 which
was
held on March 31 in Earth Plaza Hongo-Dai.
TM Hirakawa and TM Nagai, both come from STMC, won the first place respectively
in the Japanese and English speech contest, will proceed to
the Division D speech contest to be held on April 21. Congratulation!

In-house Speech Contest |
On February 09, we had the In-house Speech Contest (English and Japanese)
at the same time and venue as the regular meeting.
It was held to select our representatives for the Area 44 Speech Contest
to be held on March 31. TM Nagai and TM Arai will proceed to the Engish
contest, and TM Hirakawa and TM Tomita to the Japanese Contest.

2012 Year-end party was held on December 8 after the regular meeting
at an Italian resterant in Fujisawa.

District 76 International Table Topic Contest |
District 76 International Speech Contest and the 2012 District 76 Fall
Conference was held on November 17-18 at Kawasaki City Industrial
Promotion Hall. Shonan and Kawasaki Toastmasters clubs jointly hosted it.
As a special guest, the international president, Michael Notaro gave
presentations on leadership.

It was held to select our representatives for the Area 44 Speech Contest

Japanese contest respectively.
