Our Special Activities for July 2006 - June 2007 | |
Jun. 23, Sat. 2007 | STMC Discussion Session |
Discussion leader TM Tanaka led the session with follwing two intersting
games to activate their speaking English. You can imagine how the participants
enjoyed the session. 1. The attendants were divided into two groups. A person from "A" group wrote a name of the famous person and showed it to his/her group. S/He asked to "B" group, "Who am I?" "B" group asked the questions about the famous person written in the paper and the reply was given only "Yes" or "No". Time limit was two minutes. Each group competed each other to get more points within the time limit. 2. A funny story creation. The first person said, "I heard a rumor that Mr. Koizumi, former prime minister, was going to get married. Do you know who she is? TM YK" Then, TM YK continued the story by making it as funny as possible. In this way, the creation of the one-sentence story continued by all the participants. Please join the next session on July 28. Here's the information. |
