What is Toastmasters Club?

Toastmasters Club is an international nonprofit organization headquartered in the USA. It aims to improve each member's communication skills through delivering speeches and by receiving feedback from fellow members. You also acquire leadership skills by participating in the operation of the club and its meetings.

The first club was established in California in 1924 by Dr. Smedley, and more than 3 million people worldwide have been studying the communication skills of Toastmasters. At present, there are about 12,500 clubs in more than 113 countries, with the total number of 260,000 members.

In Japan, TM District 76, there are 99 clubs including Japanese
-English bilingual clubs and Japanese speaking clubs, with the total
number of 2,300 members.

In our area, area 43, there are the total of 5 clubs 2clubs are Japanese club (Kanagawa, and Kagayaki), and other 3 clubs are English club (Mikasa, Kamakura, and Shonan).
