今回654回のTMOD（例会司会者）Hirokoさんのレポートです
今日はスピーチ2本、テーブルトピックスのすべてを新しく入会された方が実施され、新しい工夫をたくさん頂きました これはたのしみです！！！
[Prepared speeches, Evaluations and Grammarian]
※スピーカーは、数週間前からスピーチの準備をし、本番（当日）に臨みます。スピーチ時間は約５～７分。それぞれいろいろな分野のスピーチを集めたPathというオンラインベースのマニュアルを使い、実践でプレゼン能力を鍛えます。湘南ではSpeech後 はQuestion-and-Answerがあり、聴衆からの質問に答え、対応力を鍛えます
第1 SpeakerはMutsumiさん、スピーチのタイトルは、 “My Dear Sherlock Holmes”
Kanagawaで実施される新人を対象とするスピーチコンテストに出場されるスピーチ 小学校の時からファンだったSherlock Holmesについて熱く語ります。半世紀以上前から変わらない好きなものがあるというのは本当にすてきなことですね。
第2Speakerは信一さん、タイトルは“My way of relaxing”
信一さんのリラックスの方法はちょっと変わっていて、お寺に行って大きな鐘の音を聞いたり、チーンという小さなかねの音やお経にもリラックスするそうです。そのほかにも中トロとバーボンなどいろいろあって、それらを大きなgestureを使って表情ゆたかに話してくださいました。
[Table Topics Session]
その場で出されるテーマで2分間ほどの即興スピーチをする、とてもドキドキするセッションです。 論理性、説得性だけでなくカンと度胸も身につく世界共通のプログラムで、湘南ではお客様も含めて全員が挑戦します。
今日のTTマスターMihoさんは、今日の言葉”memorable”にちなんで、memorableなstoryについて様々な質問を用意されました。入会されて初挑戦の役割です！！！
🛍️ Topic 1 – Online Shopping: Have you ever tried online shopping? What did you buy, and how was your experience? Were you satisfied or disappointed?
Mutusmi san is using Amazon and Mercari to buy old books and sell poem books!
✈️ Topic 2 – Culture Shock: Have you ever traveled abroad and experienced culture shock? Which country was it, and what surprised you the most?
Ichi san was surprised at nature toilet in India and wild saint cows.
💎 Topic 3 – Lost Jewelry: Recently, there was news about stolen jewelry from the Louvre Museum in France. Have you ever lost or misplaced a piece of jewelry, accessory, or watch that was special to you? What happened?
Taki san has lost his purse at grocery store many times. He called the store and found it every time.
👵 Topic 4 – Special Relatives: Do you have a special relative other than your parents or siblings — like an uncle, aunt, or cousins? What makes that person special to you?
Arai san was angry at his grandchild because the grandchild did not seem to study hard enough.
🌱 Topic 5 – Trying Something New: Have you tried something new recently — like new hobby, new tools like AI, or activity? What was it, and do you think you’ll continue it?
Jade-san began giving home care to her husband. Interestingly the handsome caregiver’s massage was just like the way Jade san did it for her husband.
🌼 Topic 6 – Gardening: Do you have a garden or terrace? Do you enjoy gardening, and how do you take care of your plants? What is tough and fun?
Hiroko san planted cucumbers, tomatoes, potatoes, watermelons, and pumpkins. But in the end she only harvested the pumpkins and watermelon. Her daughter in the US had suggested she escape Japan’s scorching summer and stay in the US so she left her vegetable garden for a month.
🎉 Topic 7 – Ceremonies: Have you attended an anniversary ceremony recently — like a birthday, reunion, or memorial? What made it memorable?
Eiki san has attended high school reunion.
🧹 Topic 8 – House Chores: Do you enjoy doing house chores? Which chores do you dislike the most, and why?
Kaneko san disliked washing windows the most.
本日のTMOD賞は、スピーチで活躍されたMutsumiさんと今日初めてTable Topics Masterに挑戦されたMihoさんです。MutsumiさんはTT賞も受賞されダブル賞を獲得されました。
