TMOD(本日の司会)は、Bobさんです。それでは、本日の例会の様子です。

例会前の教育セッションで、昨今の緊迫した国際情勢について白熱した議論が交わされ、その熱気が冷めやらぬ中、VPE(教育担当副会長)のジェイドさんの熱弁スピーチで始まりました。

Word of the Day “Primary”
※毎回、”本日の単語”を設定します。例会参加者は、自分の発言時に“Primary“を使うと、良いことがあるかも！？語彙力を鍛えられます。

[Prepared Speech Session]
※スピーカーは、数週間前からスピーチの準備をし、本番(当日)に臨みます。スピーチ時間は約５～７分。プレゼン能力を鍛えられます。

Speaker: ジェイドさん　Title: Reskilling and Involvement
The speech purpose of this project is for the member to apply the skills needed to successfully lead in a volunteer organization, and share some aspect of his or her experience serving as a leader in a volunteer organization. She emphasized the importance of reskilling and expects 360 degree evaluation for her efforts from the members six months later.

※メンバー全員が、与えられた課題について自由に意見を述べ合い、多様な視座や価値観に触れることによって、視野を広げることができます。
We discussed “Club Slogan and Goals” and shared various values and motivations as a Toastmaster.

[Table Topics Session]
事前準備なしに短い英語スピーチを行うTable topics sessionでは、ゲストを含めたメンバー全員がこれにチャレンジ。このセッションでは、どんなトピックが自分にあたるのかいつもドキドキです。本日のお題担当は、つかささん。英語をめぐる初体験や国際関係のほか、歌やスポーツに関わる楽しい話題が提供されました。あなたも当意即妙で英語で答えられますか？

TMOD(本日の司会)は、ジェイドさんです。それでは、本日の例会の様子です。
今日はトーストマスターズの1年間の門出です。お正月例会と呼ぶクラブもあります。
 
1年間の門出らしく、今期会長のつかささんのスピーチで始まりました。
 
Word of the Day “Everything”
※毎回、”本日の単語”を設定します。例会参加者は、自分の発言時に“Everything“を使うと、良いことがあるかも！？語彙力を鍛えられます。

※スピーカーは、数週間前からスピーチの準備をし、本番(当日)に臨みます。スピーチ時間は約５～７分。プレゼン能力を鍛えられます。
 
1st Speaker　つかささん　Title: Try everything
The speech purpose is for the member to practice writing and delivering a speech that
inspires others.　He told us of his toastmaster experience, and how he has opened his way by challenging to all opportunities. We believe he will open the gate for us at the club, as the incoming president of Shonan!!
 
2nd Speaker　かずおさん　Title: Everything is Vibrating
The speech purpose is to practice applying feedback and serve as a speech evaluator during a club meeting, engaging humor.  You would imagine it would be difficult to explain quantum physics in a speech. He did the difficult job by starting his speech with the romantic thought that everything in the universe is vibrating even you and I …  How interesting!

事前準備なしに短い英語スピーチを行うTable topics sessionでは、ゲストを含めたメンバー全員がこれにチャレンジ。このセッションでは、どんなトピックが自分にあたるのかいつもドキドキです。本日のお題担当は、ボブさん。合計17のSustainable Development Goalsから一つの目標について、あなたの考えを。。。あなたも英語で答えられますか？

TMOD(本日の司会)は、やっしーさんです。
それでは、本日の例会の様子です。

当日はトーストマスターズの1年間の活動が終わる日です。
恒例によりいつもの例会とは異なる３つのセッションからなり立っています。

1つ目はMOT（Moment of Truth;真実の瞬間）と言って、1年間の活動を振り返り、新しい年度に向け改善点を見つけるグループ討議の場です。Secretaryが予め全会員にアンケートを取り、その結果に基づいて進めました。

2つ目はエリアディレクターをお迎えし、Installation Ceremonyと言って、新しい役員の就任式です。

3つ目はVPE（副会長兼教育担当）による期間中に努力した会員への表彰式です。
みなさん、おめでとうございます。


例会後は例年であれば楽しいパーティーですが、コロナ過のためオンラインによるチャタリングの時間となり、くにおさんによる童謡独奏、えいさんのハーモニカ演奏などを含んで盛り上がりました。

一年間、おつかれさまでした！来年度も盛り上がっていきましょう！

As usual, very smooth, enjoyable meeting. This time, only Yassi-san delivered his speech.But it was effective .

1st Speaker　やっしーさん　Title: 「Summer camp revival plan Part 2」
The speech purpose is so important one which required so many help from other
members. The speaker gathered information and analyzed it carefully.
Despite the fact his Power Point did not work, we understood the importance of
Having “ Summer Camp”.
